So the other day I got a call from a friend, his cousin who sat for the 2017 JAMB
had just seen his result and was eager to find out if he stood any chance of getting Mechanical Engineering with his two-hundred-and-something score.
Of course I didn't know for sure what Mechanical Engineering (UNN) cut-off mark was, I had to make several phone calls to find out. Now the general feel I got after asking around was that Departments and indeed UNN were yet to release cut-offs, but the story on social media was a completely different ball game!
Some un-scrupulous elements were already parading advertorials on UNN admission and cut-off marks!
The school has since dissociated itself from all such publications as there is no official statement or announcement yet on cut-off marks and admission. For emphasis purpose however, I will go ahead and reiterate that the University of Nigeria has made No pronoucement yet on admission and cut-off marks!
