And why would she, everything was always available.

Not that mum and dad were super-rich . . . she was an only child who came after 12 years of trying to conceive.
So the tendency was to lavish her with all and more that she asked for, who after all would eat the fruits of their labour if not Marie, her mother often asked.
Well, your well certainly doesn't remain full forever . . . especially when you never took precautions to ensure that. Recession hit. The Bank was affected. Staff were downsized . . . including Marie's dad.
Inflation floats in and Marie's mum's salary doesn't even begin to cut it.
Necessity becomes the mother of invention and everyone becomes involved in the fight to live above the recession.
But Marie is at a loss what to do . . . she has never worked before.
